OUR APPROACH
The Process
The process starts with a questionnaire that we ask you to fill in -- these questions range from your desired "look and feel" to what hardware platform you intend to host your site on. Through a series of discussions with you, we draw up a formal proposal of what we can accomplish for you.
The Spec
Probably the most crucial step of the planning process. The spec is written out, in detail, to form the steps to take the project from start to completion. This will explain the structures of the site to you and what we need from you to keep the process flowing. The spec will also state what is "in scope" and "out of scope" for the current agreed proposal.
The Mockups
We will provide 2-3 design mockups based on the information you have provided in the questionnaire. From there we will work with you to tweak and alter the designs so that it fits to what you want. We can base the designs on your current branding or create a new online brand for you.
The Site Build
Once the design template has been agreed upon, the sitebuild starts. We first create a "wireframe" of the site, with all functionality in place. At this stage, you are invited to test the site to get an idea of how the "user experience" will work.
The design template will be integrated into the site structure, layering it as a "skin" to the framework.
Testing
Once the website functions as it should and looks as it should, we test it with different browsers, different setting and different scenarios.
Site Launch
Once testing has been accomplished, the site is then ready to "go live".
